Rain is a divorced, 37 yr old dreamer with one daughter who is about to graduate high school and three sons. A dog , cat and water dragon keep her company when the children are at school. She lives in the north woods of Michigan and cares for her parents while running her photography studio and always working on getting her other photography sold as well. She has had a great love for photography since she was a child and her other interests include, reading, writing stories and poetry, music, singing, woodworking, archery, teaching photography, hanging out with my kids, helping others, always more to learn, and many crafts.
Manuel at the tender age of 39 was severely bitten by the shutterbug. Causing him to spend his hard earned dollars on a subject he knew nothing about. As luck would have it he would stumble across Flickr one day while trying to figure out how to publish pictures on the Net for family to access. Well, Flickr has consumed many hours of reading, learning and sharing. Karma has played a tremendous part in the quest to become amateur photographer. Jayne is almost 36 years old but she feels 25 years old. She loves nature, camping, hiking, life, friends and family. Self taught in photography and completely addicted. She loves taking nature shots of butterflies, birds and dragonflies. One day she would love to move to the mountains and sell some more of her images. She has a wild side to her but loves to help others when they need her. You can find her at live music shows or out in the field taking photos. Hi I’m Bryan and I live in Auckland, New Zealand.I was given my first camera when I was very young and have always taken photos as a record of people and places. Now, thanks to Flickr and many of its members I have a passion for photography.When I’m not taking photos (or at work) I can be found in the garden, in front of my tropical fish tank, or at the movies. As for work… that has something to do with on-line learning.
Rich lives in the southern New England State of Connecticut. By day he is a Systems Analyst for a Financial Data Service Bureau. In his spare time he enjoys playing tennis, roller blading, hanging out with family and friends, day tripping, hitting the local casino and of course, photography. His favorite subjects to photograph center around Nature and anything Outdoors.He stumbled across Flickr through a friend and is amazed at the talent that exists out there when pouring over photo streams. The exposure to photos taken by friends and contacts from other parts of the world has given him a renewed appreciation for how lives can be so different yet the same no matter where one resides.As an Admin of Karma he has recognized a true sense of family and support among not only his fellow admins but within the entire Karma membership. A true Midwesterner, Nicki has lived in Wisconsin all her life. Currently she is 28 years old and has been passionate about photography all her life. She is a nature lover to the core and especially loves birds, dragonflies and butterflies. My Flickr friends know me as Krisspy, but you can call me Krissy! I have always lived in the beautiful Pacific Northwest , and I live in a smaill-ish city at the base of Mt. Hood called Sandy, Oregon.I am happily married and Mom to an 11year old daughter, and an 8 year old son. I also own my own small business and work part-time at a job I love. If you check my photostream, you will see that I enjoy landscape photos. Also, I have never been much of a bird person, but they seem to like me! I tend to be outspoken, adventurous and a perfectionist. And I am proud to say I have a bit of a bent sense of humor.I have found a great family in my Karma group and look forward to meeting all of you and seeing your works of art in our wonderful group!

Hi my name is John . I am a 42 year old husband to my gorgeous wife , Julie . Dad to eight and grandfather to two . I am interested in photography for many reasons ….. One of which is that photos are memories ….. They capture a moment in time and history and later when you share it , it brings back those memories colored with new life experiences . I work a full time job and love to work in the yard so photography is the way I unwind . I love to challenge myself to see things in a different light . One of the things people who have been through a tragedy , such as a home fire , try to save is their photos . To a degree , our pictures define who we are at different times. I love our group , Karma. I think it is the friendliest group on Flickr !! I think we have a great team of administrators here that are like one big extended family .Shots I prefer : nature , I love natural lighting , I am presently trying to expand my skills to all areas of photography .(would love to make my whole living doing this !)I love the outdoors , especially the small things that we tend to overlook everyday .On being an administrator : I love our Karma family , I have always tried to encourage others and this provides a wonderful outlet for that . It humbles me to see so much talent in our membership . Some of the shots just move me emotionally . My name is Roger. I’m 50-something – recently married – have one daughter and two step-daughters – and live in Moscow, Idaho (a small university town on the Washington/Idaho border). I’ve been taking pictures since 2002. Most of my photostream on Flickr was shot with a 2-megapixel Fujifilm Finepix 2800 (which I still think takes amazing pictures). But I recently moved up to my first DSLR – a Sony Alpha. We shall see how long it takes me to ascend the learning curve. I love to find interesting perspectives on the world through the lens of my camera. I seem to have a particular affinity for close-up macro work. Photography has given me the wonderful gift of learning to see the world differently. And I really enjoy being able to share beauty with the world through the wonderful venue of Flickr. It was a great joy and a privilege to be a part of the creation of the Karma group. Working with people like Rain and John and all the other Guides was fun and exciting. Watching the group grow and flourish has been very satisfying.
